The LPN to RN Track at Glen Oaks Community College allows licensed practical nurses to earn a Nursing Associate of Applied Science in as little as three semesters. Students enter with advanced standing, receiving credit for prior LPN training. The curriculum builds on foundational LPN knowledge with advanced RN coursework in maternal-child, psychiatric, and complex care nursing. Clinicals are completed in healthcare settings across southern Michigan and northern Indiana. The program is approved by the Michigan Board of Nursing and prepares graduates for the NCLEX-RN exam.
