The Phlebotomy Technician Certificate is a one-semester program at Glen Oaks Community College designed for students seeking quick entry into healthcare. Through lab practice and clinical rotations at local facilities, students learn blood draw techniques, specimen processing, infection prevention, medical terminology, and electronic health records. The program prepares graduates for entry-level employment in hospitals, labs, and clinics, and qualifies them to sit for national certification exams. Winter start only; in-person attendance required.
