A two-year, cohort-based certificate preparing students for entry-level careers in agricultural equipment maintenance. Covers engine and transmission diagnostics, diesel technology, electronic controls, hydraulic and irrigation systems, welding, and equipment safety. Classes are held at Burnips Equipment Company in Three Rivers, Michigan. Curriculum is developed with input from local farm employers and agri-business partners. All credits apply toward the Agricultural Equipment Technology AAS degree at GOCC.
