WOH 1022 - History of World Civilization from 1500 WOH 1022 - History of World Civilization from 1500 3 credits This course is a compact survey of the evolution of civilization from 1500. All major areas and countries are included. Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, India, China, Japan, and North, Central and South America receive appropriate emphasis. The major focus will be on the political, economic, and social views of the world. * This writing-intensive course requires a minimum of 4,000 words across multiple college-level, faculty-evaluated written assignments. If completed with a “C” or better, this course will be counted toward partial fulfillment of the Writing Intensive course requirements. * This course is equivalent to WOH 1023 and 1030 . Students who have previously enrolled in and passed WOH 1023 or 1030 may not earn duplicate credit for WOH 1022 .
