SCE 3310 - Teaching Science in Elementary School SCE 3310 - Teaching Science in Elementary School 3 credits The course will focus on developmentally appropriate effective instructional strategies for the elementary learner. Multiple methods of instruction will be explored including inquiry, scientific process, content area literacy, and cooperative learning experiences. The course will be inclusive of state standards, subject matter competencies, appropriate pedagogy, and assessment procedures. 15 hours of field experience is required with this course.
