MGF1130 — Mathematical Thinking

MGF 1130 - Mathematical Thinking MGF 1130 - Mathematical Thinking 3 credits In this course, students will utilize multiple means of problem solving through student-centered mathematical exploration. The course is designed to teach students to think more effectively and vastly increase their problem-solving ability through practical application and divergent thinking. This course is appropriate for students in a wide range of disciplines/programs. If completed with a grade of “C” or better, this course serves to demonstrate competence in the general education mathematics requirement. Credit is not given for both (MGF 1130 and MGF 1106) or both (MGF 1130 and MGF 1113).

Prerequisites: MAT0018, MAT0057, MAT1100, MAT1033, MGF1106, MGF1113
