GLY 1070C - Living on the Water Planet GLY 1070C - Living on the Water Planet 3 credits Students will be able to describe the attributes of surface and groundwater systems and explain how the processes, mechanisms, and hazards of the hydrologic cycle, floods, and droughts control water supply. Particular attention will be given to the use of instrumentation to measure water quality, quantity, and transport as well as the interpretation of patterns of water use, threats to water quality, and the effects of global climate change on future water use and supply at local, regional (Florida and the Southeast specifically), and global scales.
