Students will gain a basic understanding of the factors and challenges involved in fire emergencies and examine how to make informed decisions in high-pressure situations. The course teaches fire officers how to evaluate and adapt their incident action plans for maximum effectiveness. Students will examine the incident management structure and learn to adjust tactics based on various factors such as building construction types.
