EMS 2648 - Paramedic Field Experience EMS 2648 - Paramedic Field Experience 2 credits This course allows students to apply skills pertinent to paramedic theory and psychomotor skills learned during the previous semesters. Students will participate in directed and supervised time on an advanced life support (ALS) unit, which will include observation and skill development as a team member. Students will observe how to be an effective team lead in the pre-hospital setting. This course aligns with the U.S. Department of Transportation, Paramedic: National EMS Education Standards, the Florida Department of Education Standards and in accordance with F.S. 401.2701 and Florida Administrative Code 64J-1.020.
