EDG 3620 - Curriculum and Instruction EDG 3620 - Curriculum and Instruction 3 credits Teacher candidates will examine the curriculum and the role and responsibilities of teaching including the role of special teachers, problems of individual learners, and materials and strategies appropriate for the selected area of concentration. Course content includes curriculum and instructional strategies in elementary (K-6) reading, language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. Teacher candidates will connect theory to practice through the creation, implementation, and evaluation of meaningful and authentic lessons and experiences.
