DSC 1006 - Introduction to Homeland Security DSC 1006 - Introduction to Homeland Security 3 credits This course introduces students to the vocabulary and important components of homeland security. It identifies the important agencies associated with homeland security and their inter-related duties and relationships. Students examine historical events that impact homeland security; explore state, national, and international laws impacting homeland security; and examine the most critical threats confronting homeland security.
