CVT2420 — Invasive Cardiology I

CVT 2420 - Invasive Cardiology I CVT 2420 - Invasive Cardiology I 3 credits Additional topics include: aseptic techniques, sterilization, patient assessment, radiography, pharmacology, cardiac wave forms, coronary artery anatomy, equipment and tools utilized in cardiac catheterization, hemodynamic data and analysis, right and left heart catheterizations, and complications and treatments that may occur during cardiac catheterization procedures. Students will practice cardiac catheterization procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab on campus.

Prerequisites: CVT1000, CVT1200
