SLS 2370 - Personal Academic and Career Engagement Add to Personal Catalog SLS 2370 - Personal Academic and Career Engagement College Requirements Met: AATR, GE, GR General Education Area: Group 3 Social Science This course gives students an opportunity to reflect on previous educational/professional experiences and identify gained employability skills. Through self-assessment, students will be prepared to make informed decisions about career choices, higher education options, or both. Students will design a three-year academic/career plan, produce a professional e-portfolio, and create an effective content-based resume. Topics also include financial literacy, digital citizenship, and professional workplace skills. Successful completion of this course will prepare students for entry into the workforce and/or transfer to a university.
