RED 4044 - Foundations and Applications of Language and Reading Add to Personal Catalog RED 4044 - Foundations and Applications of Language and Reading College This course provides evidence-based instructional strategies grounded in the science of reading and understanding and applying reading and writing strategies for explicit, sequential, and systematic instruction and assessment of oral language development, phonological and phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Participants will examine and apply evidence-based practices for students with reading difficulties, including students with dyslexia and English Language Learners.
