MGF 1131 - Mathematics in Context Add to Personal Catalog MGF 1131 - Mathematics in Context College Requirements Met: AATR, GE, GR General Education Area: Mathematics Students will develop their mathematical ability and enhance their problem-solving skills to solve a variety of practical problems in contextual situations. Emphasis will be given to problem solving techniques through practical application of relevant, everyday life situations in a global society. Students will benefit from applications from the fields of financial mathematics, voting methods, data management and analysis, combinatorics, ratios, and proportions.
