FFP 0141C - Emergency Services First Responder Add to Personal Catalog FFP 0141C - Emergency Services First Responder Clock Hours: 40 Occupational Pre/ Recognition of symptoms and signs of impending danger to the patient’s life and the accepted treatment modes for the conditions will be taught as well as techniques for extrication (light duty) of the accident victim. This course is designed to instruct a student to the level of Emergency Medical Responder, who serves as a vital link in the chain of the health care team. In addition to class meetings and weekly quizzes and assignments, students are required to demonstrate mastery of all psychomotor skills in the skills lab. The course meets the requirements of the Florida Department of Health, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services (64J-1 FAC).
