Respond to a crash scene safely. Assess a crash scene properly. Secure a safe work environment at a crash scene. Provide emergency medical assistance to injured people at a crash scene, if necessary. Obtain pertinent information about a crash to determine how and why it occurred. Identify crimes revealed during a crash investigation, if any. Return a crash scene to normal as quickly as possible. Complete driver exchange of information properly. Take appropriate enforcement action. Document a crash correctly in appropriate crash report form.
