AML 2600 - Introduction to African-American Literature Add to Personal Catalog AML 2600 - Introduction to African-American Literature College Requirements Met: AATR, GE, GR General Education Area: Group 2 Humanities This survey course introduces students to major voices in African-American Literature, covering the periods from American colonization to the present. Students will study texts relating to slavery, the Harlem Renaissance, the Black Arts Movement, and contemporary Black literature in order to form a complete understanding of the intersection between race and writing in America.
