Heavy Duty Diesel Service Technology

The Heavy Duty Diesel Service Technology program at Delta College prepares students for careers in heavy duty diesel service. Covering operation and preventive maintenance of diesel systems, engines, and power-driven vehicles, the program includes hands-on training and an ASE (National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence) certification exam at the master service technician level. Offered as an Associate in Applied Science degree (4 semesters, 64 credits) and an Advanced Certificate (4 semesters, 48 credits), the program features blended in-person and online scheduling. Many employers require ASE certification when hiring.
