Explores the effects of pre, post and operative drugs. Increases understanding of general principles/techniques and drugs used by anesthesia and their effects on the patient. Learns abot student diagnostic testing such as radiology, laboratory and cardiographics. Reviews wound healing, All Hazards, Trauma, nutrition perioperatively, fluid and electrolyte balance and techniques in maintaining homeostasis.
