MIT226 — Manufacturing Automation

This course is designed to provide a comprehensive review of automated manufacturing. Students will perform automated machine setup and adjustment, operate and monitor system operations, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and analyze and optimize system operations. With specialized instruction, individuals will also learn the technical skills needed to operate and monitor equipment for the simulated manufacturing and to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair the specialized equipment used in this process. Students will work in a cleanroom.
