The content focuses on the skills and knowledge needed to provide care for the expectant mother during and after pregnancy, newborns (including SIDS/SUIDS), pediatric patients, and their families. Em - phasis is placed on preparing for the state licensing examination, employability skills, and transitioning to the practical nursing role. Completion of a comprehensive nursing exam is required.
