Designed to present the knowledge and skills to care for a client from conception through adolescence, the course presents an introduction of high risk factors. The nursing process provides a framework for planning care on the wellness-illness continuum. Clinical experiences may be provided in both clinic and acute care settings. Specific exercises in management principles are provided in the clinical setting.
