Paramedic III is the Capstone phase of the Paramedic Program. This lab builds upon the advanced life support knowl- edge, skills, assessments, treatments, and experiences attained in EMS 2620 and EMS 2621 with additional advanced level training and certifications. This course prepares the student for state licensure, national certification, and employment as a competent entry-level Paramedic. Clinical practice is in the Physician Shadow Team Lead Internship (336 hours). 360 total hours. Prerequisites: EMS 2621C.
