This course is an introductory course to the engineering and technology professions with emphasis on the spectrum of knowledge, work opportunities, and careers. The student is introduced to engineering work habits, responsibilities, com- munications, problem solving techniques, and technical calculations. The various engineering specialties will be presented. Presentations will be made by working professionals in the local engineering and technical community. The student will complete a series of exercises and a basic understanding of Windows / Microsoft Office. 3 semester hours credit.
