The accounting internship is designed for business/accounting students who desire to gain real world experience in the accounting field through on-the-job practice. Students work under the direction of an approved industry professional, a faculty advisor, and the internship director. A minimum of 35 hours on the job is required for each semester hour of credit earned. Prerequisite: To be eligible, the student must A) have successfully completed with a grade of C or better a minimum of 30 semester hours of upper level coursework toward a BSBA degree in the Accounting Concentration; B) have successfully completed with a grade of C or better ACG 3101, ACG 3111, ACG 3341, ACG 3351; C) an interview with the course instructor or coordinator of the program; D) an internship application; and E) approval from the dean of the department. 1-
