This course is designed to assist students in career readiness through the development of a professional career portfolio and credentialing examination. This portfolio will help students document and showcase specific skills and competency areas to potential employers. Students will practice professionalism and communication skills by presenting their professional portfolios and participating in career preparatory activities, such as career fairs, mock interviews, and learning from local businesses. Upon completion of this course, students may qualify to sit for a credentialing exam, such as the National Retail Federation (NRF) Retail Industry Fundamentals Specialist exam.
