This course is not ordinarily counted in the Associate in Arts degree. This course provides the repair technician with additional training in scuba equipment theory, advanced scuba equipment maintenance and repairs. Students will learn about air station design, maintenance requirements and routine repairs including air sampling and high pressure gauge calibration. Students will learn about the requirements for oxygen cleaning for service and oxygen use. Students may earn industry certification as a cylinder inspector at the completion of the completion of the course.
