EDG4410 — Classroom Management and Communication

This course provides basic skills and knowledge for creating a learning environment that encourages positive social interaction and effective communication among members of the learning community. Attitudes, language patterns, values and behaviors are emphasized. This course also includes methods and strategies for consulting with other school professionals and parents. Self-regulation and dis-regulation are also covered. This course requires a minimum of 15 hours of field experience. Therefore, students must complete a background check that meets the school district’s requirements, which may have additional expenses.
