This course supports students in practical applications, including teaching mathematics and science lessons, in a K-12 public school setting. Students are assigned a cooperating teacher to provide supervision and feedback, with opportunities to integrate content and pedagogical knowledge in the K-12 classroom. This course requires field experience. Therefore, students must complete a background check that meets the school district’s requirements, which may have additional expenses.
