RET1024 - Principles of Respiratory Care RET1024 - Principles of Respiratory Care The course will provide the student with the theories necessary to administer the following therapeutics safely and effectively: basic oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, small volume nebulizers and meter dose inhalers, incentive spirometers, breathing exercises, and chest physiotherapy. The student will ultimately demonstrate the ability to review patient condition and make recommendations concerning the plan of care, and assess and document the patient’s response to therapy.
