IV administration for cardiac and pulmonary medications is practiced. Cardiac and respiratory arrest drills are held. Use of ventilators, cricothyrotomy and chest decompression are practiced. Implementation of special challenged persons’ needs during life threatening situations is also practiced. Florida EMT certification is required prior to enrolling in this course.
