An introduction to the examination and analysis of play scripts as preparation for production. Students will read plays from various periods and genres though emphasis will be placed on works of the Western Canon, and analyze such dramatic elements as plot, theme, character, dialogue, and style. THE2304 is a writing credit course. Students must earn a minimum grade of C to meet the requirements of the Gordon Rule for writing. THE2304 meets the International/Intercultural competency requirement.
