This course defines the role of quality in an industrial environment, teaching students to apply quality management techniques and philosophies, process development, evaluation techniques, continuous operations approaches, quality control methods,_and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) series of standards. The course also covers the responsibility of quality assurance during engineering, manufacturing, and marketing.
