A high-beginning level combined skills course for speakers of other languages designed principally to guide the students to the development of basic grammar and writing structures as applied to academic English. Students will develop writing skills in the context of guided discourse on personal topics with an emphasis on logical thought and mechanics. The requirement to move to the next level (EAP0385C) is a C or higher. With a D or F, a student must repeat EAP0285C. PREREQUISITE: Placement by entrance score and/or department recommendation.
